Insurance Recovery and Counseling Associate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Insurance Recovery and Counseling Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling matters on behalf of policyholders. This role involves handling a range of insurance recovery issues, providing legal advice, and representing clients in litigation.

Duties:

• Handle complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling matters on behalf of policyholders.
• Advise clients on insurance recovery strategies and policy interpretations.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues to develop effective legal solutions.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry trends affecting insurance recovery.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage and recovery matters.
• Demonstrated experience with complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling preferred.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies and coverage issues from the policyholder's perspective.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California.
