Job Title: Senior Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm based in Fort Lee, NJ is seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Associate Attorney to manage a diverse caseload and provide effective representation in litigation matters in both New Jersey and New York. The ideal candidate will have extensive trial experience and the ability to independently handle cases from inception through trial. This position requires a deep understanding of legal strategies and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, the court, and opposing counsel.

Duties:

• Independently manage a full caseload of litigation from inception through trial.
• Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct thorough legal research, and develop and present legal strategies.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs in support of litigation strategies.
• Provide timely and effective legal advice and information to clients on legal and factual matters.
• Communicate professionally with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
• Ensure the efficient and effective disposition of assigned cases.
• Prepare and present witnesses and evidence in trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 15+ years of litigation experience with demonstrable trial verdict experience.
• Extensive experience in handling trials and litigation matters.
• Strong communication skills to represent clients in hearings, negotiations, and legal proceedings.
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to both New York and New Jersey Bar (mandatory).
