Finance Banking Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Finance Banking Associate Attorney with 2 years of private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance experience.

Duties:

• Conducted legal research and provided analysis related to finance and banking transactions.
• Draft and review various finance documents, including loan agreements, security agreements, and promissory notes.
• Assist in due diligence processes for financing transactions.
• Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and other parties involved in finance transactions.
• Assist senior attorneys in negotiations and closings of finance deals.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 2 years of experience in private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance.
• Strong understanding of finance and banking laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Education:
