Duties:

  • Handle personal injury cases from intake to resolution or trial.
  • Conduct client consultations and maintain client communication throughout the case.
  • Take and defend depositions, ensuring thorough case preparation.
  • Draft and respond to motions and other legal documents.
  • Lead mediation and settlement negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Develop comprehensive case strategies and manage all aspects of trial preparation.
  • Represent clients in court, with a focus on achieving favorable verdicts.
  • Collaborate with local and remote support staff for case management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
  • Proven track record as a first-chair attorney in jury trials.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.
  • Strong experience in drafting and responding to motions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Tennessee Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must hold a current license to practice law in Tennessee.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.
