Duties:

  • Manage family law cases from start to finish, ensuring smooth progress throughout the process.
  • Provide superior customer service, including monthly status reports and weekly case reviews for clients.
  • Develop and recommend improvements to practice management processes.
  • Utilize practice quality software to track performance metrics and client satisfaction.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediation, and consultations as needed.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, and discovery.
  • Maintain organization and accuracy in case management, utilizing legal software.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of family law experience in Texas; 6+ years preferred.
  • Active Texas Bar License for at least 2 years.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Interest in conducting hearings, court appearances, and mediation.
  • Ability to handle consults and client meetings effectively.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with TxDoc, Clio, or similar legal software, and MS Office or Google Suite.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Texas State Bar License (required).

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong legal research and drafting abilities.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining quality client service.
  • Interest and experience in family law litigation and mediation.
  • High level of organizational skills and time management.
