Associate Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney to join its legal team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will handle all phases of personal injury litigation, provide legal counsel to clients, and work closely with other attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional legal services. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus, as the firm serves a largely Hispanic clientele. Duties:

• Develop personal injury cases from initial investigation through trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding labor law, premises liability, and motor vehicle accident claims.
• Prepare for and attend legal proceedings, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Maintain detailed client records and files.
• Supervise paralegals and administrative assistants to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the New York State Bar.
• Experience in personal injury law and all phases of litigation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
