Duties and Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar.
  • Proven experience in insurance defense law practice.
  • Previous first chair trial experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Florida and Federal rules of civil procedure, court deadlines, civil filing procedures, and e-filing.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects with close attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in case management software such as Perfect Law, AIM, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, professional staff, and peers.
