A law firm in Tyler, TX is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in personal injury law, demonstrate exceptional client management, and excel in courtroom settings. This role requires a proactive attorney capable of handling complex cases with a high level of aggression and dedication to client representation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to discuss their cases and provide legal advice.
  • Draft and file legal motions and manage all aspects of motion work.
  • Conduct discovery, including gathering and analyzing evidence and preparing documents.
  • Take and defend depositions as required.
  • Participate in mediations to negotiate settlements.
  • Represent clients effectively in court and during trial proceedings.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies tailored to each case.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • State Bar certification in Texas.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law (10+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated stellar client interface skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of aggression on behalf of clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Great negotiation and trial skills.
