Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dynamic and motivated Litigation Intake Associate Attorney to join its team in Houston, TX. This role involves managing new client intake, evaluating legal issues, conducting negotiations, and initiating litigation. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional client service while upholding the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.

Duties:

  • Guide new clients through the legal intake process, ensuring proper case evaluation and onboarding.

  • Assess legal issues related to personal injury claims and develop strategic case plans.

  • Review and prepare demands for negotiation.

  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

  • Initiate litigation proceedings and manage early-stage case development.

  • Oversee case resolutions and coordinate the disbursement of client funds.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and case progression.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar.

  • 0-3 years of personal injury legal experience.

  • Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred but not required).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Texas State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities.

  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
