Duties:

  • Manage and assist with defense litigation cases across various industries, including healthcare, construction, and transportation.
  • Provide legal research, drafting, and analysis in preparation for trial.
  • Handle depositions, motions, discovery, and other trial-related tasks.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure case progression.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to strategize and manage cases effectively.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and cases are moving forward efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of litigation experience, ideally in defense.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a heavy caseload and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong work ethic, proactive, and willing to take initiative.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Texas Bar Admission.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong litigation and legal research abilities.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases effectively.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
