Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated mid-level Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team. This role will involve managing general liability cases across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a diverse caseload, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in depositions and court proceedings. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work arrangement if preferred.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of general liability matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania
• Draft pleadings, legal documents, and dispositive motions
• Handle written discovery and manage case responses
• Take and defend depositions
• Provide strategic legal analysis to clients
• Represent clients in oral arguments and court appearances as necessary
• Communicate and collaborate with clients to provide updates and legal counsel

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on liability defense
• Strong background in premises liability, automobile accidents, general liability, and insurance defense
• Excellent skills in drafting legal pleadings and motions
• Proven experience in depositions and court appearances
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively
• Strong organizational, research, and analytical abilities
• Effective communication and client-facing skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey (PA and NJ Bar)
