Junior to Mid-level Business Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks a detail-oriented and motivated Business Litigation Associate to join its Boston office. This hybrid position is suitable for candidates with 2-4 years of experience in business litigation. The ideal applicant will have strong legal writing and analytical skills, along with a commitment to excellence in their work.

Duties

• Manage a variety of business litigation cases, including financial and securities disputes.
• Draft legal pleadings and motions, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support ongoing litigation efforts.
• Oversee the discovery process, including document review and management.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop case strategies.
• Maintain effective communication with clients to keep them informed about case progress.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in business litigation.
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Experience in a mid-sized or large law firm setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with financial, securities, or complex civil litigation is a plus.
• A federal clerkship or state appellate clerkship is advantageous.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and in good standing.
