A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Attorney to join its team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in employment litigation and will play a key role in representing employee rights.

Duties:

  • Attend depositions and assist senior attorneys with trial preparation
  • Make court appearances and engage in law and motion writing
  • Participate in trial and arbitration proceedings
  • Conduct legal writing and research
  • Draft correspondence, notices, and objections
  • Summarize and propound discovery
  • Interact effectively with clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law
  • Trial and arbitration experience
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills
  • General knowledge of California Civil Procedure
  • Experience drafting and responding to discovery requests
  • Excellent legal writing abilities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Reliable and punctual with the ability to commute daily to Downtown Los Angeles

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Proficient in legal analysis and problem-solving
