  • Guide federal and state tax laws, estate tax principles, and trust administration procedures.
  • Address disputed matters and assist with procedural challenges as needed.
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships by offering empathetic, professional advice during emotionally challenging times.
  • Report regularly on case progress and develop strategies to grow the firm's client base.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning and trust administration, with the ability to manage cases from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws, and experience quantifying tax impacts in estate planning.
  • Experience drafting wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build client relationships and work collaboratively with other professionals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania (required).
  • LLM in taxation or currently in the process of obtaining (preferred).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in estate planning, tax law, and business succession planning.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential client information.
  • Working knowledge of finance, investments, and tax principles.
