A prominent national law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join its Dallas office. This position involves defending employers in a variety of workplace-related disputes and providing legal counsel on a broad range of labor and employment law issues. The role is ideal for a motivated attorney with a strong litigation background who is looking to grow within a highly respected labor and employment law practice.

Duties

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, and employment torts

  • Represent clients in court, before administrative agencies, during mediations, and in arbitrations

  • Handle class and collective actions related to labor and employment matters

  • Provide ongoing legal advice and risk management counseling to employers on labor and employment law compliance

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda

  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local employment laws and agency procedures

  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a litigation team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for employment law background

  • Knowledge of court procedures and employment-related state and federal agency regulations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities

  • Proven ability to work both independently and within a team

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Strong academic credentials required

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure promptly
