Duties

  • Draft persuasive legal documents requiring technical competencies.

  • Advise and manage client expectations throughout litigation processes.

  • Defend and take depositions in probate litigation matters.

  • Interface directly with clients and manage relationships.

  • Manage a docket of cases and build a personal practice.

  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in probate litigation.

  • Current Texas law license.

  • Strong legal research and advocacy skills.

  • Expertise in the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence.

  • Experience drafting complex legal documents with clarity and persuasiveness.

  • Ability to manage client relationships and expectations effectively.

  • Experience taking and defending depositions.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent academic credentials and writing skills.

  • Proven ability to work as part of a collaborative team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
