Job Title: Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Manage and oversee a caseload with guidance from senior attorneys
• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
• Conduct research and write detailed legal memorandums
• Attend and represent clients at hearings and court conferences
• Handle depositions, both as examiner and deponent
• Attend site inspections and meetings with expert witnesses
• Participate in mediation processes and settlement negotiations
• Assist in trial preparation and represent clients during trials

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in both New Jersey and New York
• A solid understanding of court rules and procedures in both states
• 3 years of experience
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to collaborate within a team-oriented environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active New Jersey Bar License (Required)
• Active New York Bar License (Required)

• Legal research and writing expertise
• Drafting legal documents, including motions and pleadings

• Client communication and consultation skills
• Experience in litigation-related legal software
