Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join its collaborative and client-focused team in downtown Orlando. Duties

• Conduct legal research and case analysis to support client objectives.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Engage in client communication, providing updates, and maintaining strong relationships.
• Work with the team to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
• Draft persuasive legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Maintain a high standard of preparation, attention to detail, and commitment to case outcomes.

Requirements

• 1-8 years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Experience in taking depositions, attending hearings, and trial participation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
• A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to case preparation and strategy.
• Team player mentality with excellent communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Florida.
• No history of disciplinary actions.
