Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters.
• Serve as the point person on litigation cases, managing multiple cases simultaneously.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and participate in court appearances, hearings, and trials.
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and partners.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing legal advice and updates on case progress.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments within the firm.

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to practice law in California.
• 3-5 years of experience in a law firm setting, specifically in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and tasks.
• Strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to serve as the lead attorney on litigation cases.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Outstanding academic credentials.

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
