Duties:

  • Handle CMBS/balance sheet financing transactions.
  • Manage asset servicing of CMBS and balance sheet loans.
  • Draft and review a variety of legal documents including loan agreements, servicing agreements, and other related documentation.
  • Provide legal advice and support on real estate finance matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients’ needs.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other practice areas to ensure comprehensive client service.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
  • Prior experience in CMBS/balance sheet financing and asset management.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle complex transactions.
  • Excellent academic record.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California or willing to take the California bar exam.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial real estate finance documents.
