Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm in Boston is looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to join its team. The firm focuses on representing government entities and public institutions in the areas of public procurement, contracting, and infrastructure law. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and possess strong research, writing, and analytical skills. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile legal matters while developing expertise in public infrastructure projects, including water, transportation, energy, and waste management.

Duties:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research using platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Draft, review, and refine legal documents including briefs, memoranda, ordinances, and regulations related to municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Analyze and interpret relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal sources to support litigation and advisory work.
  • Stay updated on changes in local, state, and federal laws that impact public infrastructure.
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials and writing articles on municipal infrastructure topics.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the bar of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, or New York.
  • 3-5 years of experience in legal practice, preferably with a focus on public infrastructure or municipal law.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style.

Education:

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, or New York.

Skills:
