A law firm in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle foreclosure matters, including preparation of pleadings, contested foreclosures, client meetings, and participation in legal proceedings such as mediations and hearings.

Job Duties:

  • Handle foreclosure matters from inception to resolution.
  • Prepare, review, and approve foreclosure-related pleadings.
  • Manage contested foreclosure cases and related litigation.
  • Participate in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person court appearances.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and provide updates on case progress.
  • Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned by senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar.
  • Background in residential lending, foreclosure, and title litigation preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a large caseload.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in client communication via various channels (client systems, email, phone).
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability and timely resolution of issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and capable of working at a fast pace while multitasking.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with adherence to deadlines and work completion.

Education and Certifications:
