Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in complex litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, tort claims, and class actions.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and work closely with clients to provide legal counsel and updates on case progress.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management and coordination.
• Manage a caseload effectively, including maintaining deadlines and case organization.
• Participate in firm activities and contribute to a positive and professional work environment.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in complex litigation.
• Outstanding academic credentials and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• An active license to practice law in Utah is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex legal issues.
• Proven track record of successful case management and client representation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• An active license to practice law in Utah is preferred; otherwise, willingness to obtain licensure is required.
