The ideal candidate will handle every phase of representation, from initial consultation to final resolution, serving injured clients with precision, empathy, and assertive legal action. This position is a full-time, in-office role for attorneys who value advocacy, autonomy, and meaningful legal work within a collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Analyze and assess the viability of incoming workers’ compensation claims

  • Serve as primary legal counsel for clients throughout all stages of litigation and settlement

  • Offer legal advice and strategic direction to clients regarding medical treatment and compensation benefits

  • Negotiate favorable settlements and litigate cases when necessary

  • Handle a full caseload independently, from case intake to conclusion

  • Prepare and manage legal filings, attend hearings, and engage with opposing counsel

  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation using modern legal software

Requirements

  • Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in workers’ compensation law (plaintiff or defense side)

  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-based culture

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable using digital tools and legal technology platforms

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Florida Bar Certification required
