Duties

• Represent clients in legal proceedings related to nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop legal strategies to resolve disputes and minimize risks.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legal developments.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on legal and regulatory matters.
• Ensure that all legal work complies with the firm’s standards and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
• Experience in a nursing home/assisted living facility law or related field.
• Strong understanding of federal and state regulations governing nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
• Proven track record of successfully handling complex legal matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Education
