Location:

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 25 family law cases, varying by complexity
  • Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and negotiations
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and achieve favorable client outcomes
  • Participate in litigation and court proceedings as required
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing clear communication and updates
  • Attend court appearances independently or with supervision, depending on experience

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle a diverse caseload of family law matters
  • Willingness to conduct litigation and appear in court

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois

Skills:

  • Legal research, writing, and drafting skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
