Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A Woodbury-based law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The firm handles a wide range of commercial litigation, general corporate matters, and commercial and residential real estate disputes. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and managing discovery processes. Location:

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis for commercial litigation cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery demands, including document collection, review, and production.
• Represent clients in negotiations and communicate with opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with team members on case strategy and preparation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely updates on case progress.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial litigation procedures and practices.
• Experience handling discovery demands and document production.
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York.
