A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate Attorney will primarily advise clients in forming and operating investment funds, including private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds. The role involves handling various aspects of fund investments, secondary transactions, and structuring related vehicles.

Duties:

  • Communicate verbally and in writing with clients, attorneys, and external parties.
  • Produce high-quality legal documents and deliverables within specified deadlines.
  • Maintain responsiveness to client inquiries and correspondence.
  • Foster positive relationships internally and externally.
  • Adhere to firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both sedentary and physical activities as required.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in investment funds, preferably with private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
  • Experience with secondary transactions and structuring separately managed accounts preferred.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated business judgment and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others.

Education & Certifications:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in good standing.
  • Admission to practice in Georgia (GA).
