The firm specializes in complex family law cases, including divorce, child custody, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and high-asset cases. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of family law, with a focus on high-net-worth cases and client-centric solutions. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, including conducting research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court and during mediation.

Duties

  • Communicate effectively with clients throughout their cases
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Handle discovery processes and prepare evidence for trial
  • Represent clients by arguing motions in court
  • Attend and lead mediations and depositions
  • Analyze case details, develop strategies, and identify the most effective solutions for clients

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in family law, with direct client interaction
  • Experience in high-asset family law cases is preferred
  • Familiarity with the family law court system is beneficial
  • Strong legal writing and communication skills
  • Experience managing a full caseload and working autonomously
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other attorneys

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia
