Job Overview: A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of personal injury cases from inception through trial while providing excellent client service and strategic legal advice.

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Lead mediation and settlement negotiations.
  • Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients.
  • Represent clients at trial and argue motions before judges.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury law or civil litigation.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
  • Proven experience in drafting and responding to motions.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
