Duties:

  • Handle civil litigation matters related to labor and employment law, including employee disputes, wage and hour issues, discrimination claims, and more.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on various labor and employment matters.
  • Manage cases independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and clients.
  • Participate in direct client interaction, offering strategic advice and insights.
  • Support complex legal matters and assist in the resolution of employment-related disputes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Active bar membership in Michigan and Illinois (or willingness to obtain membership).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Michigan and Illinois State Bar (Required).
