Duties:

  • Handle a busy caseload from inception to settlement or verdict.
  • Engage in all aspects of litigation, including pleading preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trial work.
  • Advocate for clients in court and during settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and mentors to ensure successful case outcomes.
  • Continuously manage and update case files, ensuring all relevant legal documentation is completed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in litigation, specifically in personal injury law.
  • Proven ability to manage a heavy caseload and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience in all aspects of litigation, including pleading preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trials.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A long-term commitment to the role, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Connecticut State Bar and in good standing.

Skills:

  • Extensive experience in litigation, including personal injury law.

  • Ability to handle complex cases and provide strategic legal counsel.
