Labor and Employment Attorney

Job Overview:

A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join a dynamic team in Denver, Colorado. This full-time hybrid position offers the opportunity to work on complex employment law matters, including litigation and workers' compensation. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Labor and Employment Law, with a strong understanding of federal and state regulations.

Duties:

• Represent clients in employment litigation, including defending against claims related to wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour issues, and retaliation.
• Handle workers' compensation cases for clients.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships while providing exceptional legal services.
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Manage case strategy, deadlines, and client communications.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and trial preparations as needed.
• Keep up to date with developments in employment and labor law.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Labor and Employment Law.
• Experience defending clients in employment litigation and handling workers' compensation cases.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
