A law firm seeks a mid-level tax associate with 3 to 6 years of experience in corporate and partnership taxation. This role will focus on transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, and fund formation. Duties

• Oversee tax-related matters in corporate and partnership transactions.
• Engage in transactional practices such as mergers, acquisitions, private equity deals, and joint ventures.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide insightful analysis of tax implications for various transactions.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver strategic tax planning and advisory services.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations to ensure accurate guidance in all matters.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in tax law, particularly involving corporate and partnership transactions.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and formulate effective tax strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic performance, especially in tax-related coursework.

Certifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in FL.
