Position Title: General Liability Associate Attorney

Duties:

  • Conduct in-depth file review and legal analysis on various claims and causes of action
  • Perform extensive legal research and draft detailed briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and appellate briefs
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and depositions
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests
  • Engage with expert witnesses for case strategy and trial preparation
  • Participate actively in trial preparation and attend trials as needed
  • Meet the annual billing requirement of 1950 hours
  • Occasional travel may be necessary

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in General Liability practice
  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts (additional state admissions are a plus)
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient research, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client relationship skills and professional phone etiquette
  • Excellent work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Responsive to client and team communication

Education:

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts

Skills:
