Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on immigration matters, including research and interpretation of immigration laws.
  • Represent clients in Immigration Court, including hearings and interviews with USCIS and immigration courts.
  • Prepare legal documents and filings related to immigration reliefs and deportation defense.
  • Stay informed about changes to immigration laws and regulations to guide clients in their cases.
  • Work closely with clients to offer clear and informed guidance on the immigration process and potential outcomes.
  • Advocate for clients in legal proceedings, ensuring their voices are heard in court and before government agencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law or litigation.
  • Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in Immigration Court proceedings and USCIS interviews is required.
  • Strong desire to advocate for clients and contribute to meaningful legal outcomes.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must have graduated in the top 10% of either undergraduate or law school.

  • Admitted to practice law in any U.S. state.
