Associate Attorney Litigation

A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its team in Scottsdale, AZ. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a variety of litigation matters, including business litigation, construction disputes, and probate cases. The ideal candidate will have some litigation experience and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of case preparation, from legal research to courtroom appearances. Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft detailed memoranda to support litigation strategies.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to business, construction, and probate litigation.
• Assist with case management, ensuring that files are properly organized and deadlines are met.
• Participate in client meetings and assist senior attorneys with case development.
• Occasionally appear in court for hearings and other legal proceedings under the supervision of senior attorneys.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to formulate case strategies and provide high-quality legal services.
• Stay up-to-date with legal developments and trends related to business, construction, and probate law.

Requirements:

• A licensed attorney with 0-10 years of experience in litigation.
• Experience in business, construction, or probate litigation is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and assist in case preparation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented, with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Licensed in Arizona; additional state licenses are a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Arizona State Bar is required.
