Duties:

  • Represent clients in criminal defense cases, from consultation through trial
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Provide strategic counsel and advocacy in criminal defense matters
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials
  • Manage caseloads efficiently and communicate progress with clients
  • Collaborate with team members to build case strategies and outcomes
  • Uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism

Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
  • At least 3 years of experience in criminal defense law
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey (preferred)

Skills:

  • Criminal defense litigation experience, including trial preparation and courtroom experience
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Legal research and writing proficiency
