A law firm seeks a dedicated personal injury attorney to join its team in Hurst, Texas. This position offers an opportunity for an attorney with insurance defense experience to transition into a plaintiff-focused practice, where they can select their clients and take control of their careers. Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, and other injury-related claims.
  • Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from initial consultation through resolution, including discovery, negotiations, and trial preparation.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and formulate effective case strategies.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing parties, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Advocate for clients in court hearings, mediations, and, when necessary, trials.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing personalized legal counsel and support throughout the case process.

Requirements:

  • Experience in personal injury law or insurance defense is preferred.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent legal research and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively in both settlement and trial scenarios.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
