Job Overview: A prominent law firm in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic team. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid or fully remote work, allowing the attorney to collaborate closely with the Financial Services Litigation Group while handling various challenging cases in the consumer financial services sector. Ideal candidates will have the opportunity to engage in high-impact litigation from start to finish and work independently while continuing to build their expertise and skill set.

Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Handle cases related to consumer financial services, including but not limited to litigation regarding financial products.
• Independently manage and oversee cases from inception through to resolution.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to strategize and execute litigation plans.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal guidance throughout the litigation process.
• Demonstrate solid courtroom presence and litigation skills.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven track record of drafting legal pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
• Experience with consumer finance-related litigation is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice in the state(s) of Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.
• Solid understanding of litigation procedures and strategies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in legal technology and case management software.
