Junior To Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join their team in Chicago, IL. This position offers the opportunity to work on internationally recognized matters, including novel financing deals in the energy transition space.

Job Overview:

• Work on cutting-edge energy transition finance matters, specializing in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of work products.
• Meet deadlines and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive relationships within the firm.
• Adhere to all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities required for the role.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in IL.
• 3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters, including financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies.
• Experience in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and good business judgment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Research and problem-solving abilities.
