Duties:

• Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Handle a diverse caseload, including removal defense, family-based immigration petitions, and humanitarian applications.
• Conduct client intakes and provide legal guidance on complex immigration matters.
• Prepare and review immigration applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations regarding immigration law updates and policy changes.
• Develop and implement case strategies, preparing clients and witnesses for court and USCIS hearings.
• Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration-related cases.
• Provide legal analysis to clients to assess potential benefits and strategies in their immigration matters.
• Manage client interactions, including regular updates on case status and ongoing support.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in Immigration Law, particularly with EOIR cases.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and advance cases efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Experience with a variety of immigration cases, including Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian Cases, Detained Immigration Cases, and USCIS applications.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Experience using Case Management Software is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing.

Certifications:

• Bar Admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
