The selected attorney will manage a diverse caseload, conduct consultations with potential clients, and contribute to strategic immigration solutions.

Duties:

  • Explain complex immigration concepts and present tailored strategic solutions to clients.
  • Manage a varied workload of immigration cases, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepare a wide range of immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
  • Review and adjust immigration applications and packets to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations on immigration law changes.
  • Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients to assess their immigration needs and develop necessary strategies.
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for USCIS interviews, ensuring they understand the process and requirements.
  • Provide thorough legal analysis to determine potential benefits for clients' cases.
  • Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.
  • Coordinate legal strategies with team members to ensure cohesive case management.
  • Manage case filings and deadlines efficiently, maintaining organization and clarity.
  • Research emerging legal issues and stay updated on legislative changes impacting immigration law.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex legal challenges.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the firm's partners.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA Accredited Law School (required).
  • Active Bar License in Good Standing from any U.S. state or territory (including DC and Puerto Rico).
  • Fluency in Spanish (required).
  • 1-4 years of experience in immigration law, demonstrating a solid understanding of the field.

Education:

  • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited institution is essential.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar License from any U.S. state or territory is required.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
