Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated and motivated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing team in San Diego, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed attorney with a passion for civil litigation to handle personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will be eager to take on diverse responsibilities, including preparing legal documents, participating in hearings, conducting depositions, and representing clients in mediation and trial. Duties

• Prepare and draft complaints, motions, and other legal documents related to personal injury cases.
• Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Provide legal counsel and strategy development to clients.
• Participate in trial preparation, including witness preparation and presenting evidence in court.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding the status of their cases.

Requirements

• Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
• At least 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation (preferred).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to handle a high caseload and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analysis skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar license in the state of California.
