Innovation And Technology Solutions Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks an Innovation and Technology Solutions Attorney to enhance the firm's technology infrastructure and integrate innovative solutions into legal practices. This role involves collaborating with attorneys, clients, and the Technology & Information Services Department to optimize technology tools and services.

Duties:

• Serve as a liaison between lawyers, clients, and the Technology & Information Services Department to ensure technology systems meet operational needs.
• Collaborate with practice group leadership and support teams to develop technical strategies enhancing efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging legal and non-legal technologies, providing insights to firm management and practice leaders.
• Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies into legal practices, coordinating pilot programs and evaluating software solutions.
• Utilize expertise in litigation technology (e.g., eDiscovery) to support legal teams effectively.

Requirements:

• JD degree and admission to the relevant State Bar.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a practicing lawyer in a law firm or legal operations role.
• Experience in a technology role, preferably with exposure to software development or coding boot camps.
• Proficiency in scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript), front-end technologies (e.g., HTML/CSS), and database languages (e.g., SQL).
• Familiarity with legal and general technology tools, demonstrating a passion for emerging technologies.
