Duties:

  • Oversee and manage a docket of personal injury pre-litigation cases.
  • Ensure strict compliance with established processes and procedures.

  • Lead a team of paralegals, ensuring efficient case management and timely actions.
  • Negotiate pre-litigation settlements with insurance companies and other involved parties.
  • Review and finalize settlement releases, ensuring all terms are met.
  • Manage medical and other liens associated with personal injury cases.
  • Strategize and implement optimal resolutions for each case, determining claim values.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing legal teams or working extensively with clients in any legal field.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience working with insurance companies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and legal teams.
  • Proven ability to work within established processes while maintaining flexibility to adapt to case needs.
  • Commitment to client care and ethical legal practices.
  • Familiarity with Michigan 1st and 3rd party auto law is preferred but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active law license to practice in Michigan or the ability to obtain one.
