Senior Consumer Class Action Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Consumer Class Action Attorney. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to fight for clients and be involved in prosecuting complex consumer fraud, negligent misrepresentation, contract, defect and warranty, data breach, and false advertising claims.

Duties:

• Prosecute complex consumer fraud, negligent misrepresentation, contract, defect and warranty, data breach, and false advertising claims.
• Engage in case negotiation with opposing counsel.
• Manage litigation of cases from A-Z.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft motions and complaints.
• Attend dispositive motion hearings.
• Maintain and manage own caseload.

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Experience in mediation.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize large caseloads.
• Proficient in legal research and drafting.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

• 5+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• 1 year of experience in Federal Court preferred.
