Family Law Attorney

A law firm in Pittsfield, seeks a Family Law Attorney with 4 years of experience. The successful candidate will handle various family law matters and counsel clients on issues such as divorce, child custody, alimony, and property division.

Duties:
• Represent clients in family law proceedings, including divorce, child custody hearings, and domestic violence cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on family law statutes, regulations, and precedents.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on family law matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and client records.

Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar.
• 4 years of experience practicing family law.
• Strong understanding of family law statutes and procedures.
