The successful candidate will be expected to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to the firm's reputation for handling intricate and high-profile cases.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex personal injury cases, including cases involving significant damages, catastrophic injuries, and complex liability issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court trials.
  • Develop and execute case strategies, including identifying and presenting evidence and expert testimony.
  • Advise clients on legal rights, potential outcomes, and settlement options.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of case preparation and litigation, ensuring timely and effective progress.
  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other legal professionals to build strong case arguments.
  • Stay current on relevant legal developments, case law, and industry trends affecting personal injury litigation.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and client advocacy throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in South Carolina.
  • Significant experience in personal injury litigation, with a strong track record of managing complex cases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a demanding caseload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
