Job Overview: A law firm seeks a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team in Parker, CO. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload, draft legal documents, represent clients in court proceedings, and facilitate effective case resolution through litigation and mediation.

Job Duties:

  • Manage cases from assignment to conclusion, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Draft court pleadings, legal memoranda, and client correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Oversee discovery matters, including depositions, document production, and motion defense strategies.
  • Independently represent clients at court hearings (both live and telephonic) and mediations.
  • Conduct internal and external training to enhance legal team capabilities and compliance.
  • Maintain direct communication with the firm’s clients to provide updates and address inquiries.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of jurisdiction-specific experience in general litigation, ideally including foreclosure and REO-related litigation.
  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
  • Admitted or willing to get admitted in all Federal District Courts within the state.
  • Excellent legal research and analytical skills with a solid attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage a diverse caseload under deadlines.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills with experience drafting legal documents and conducting courtroom proceedings.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
